MY STORY



I was born in Colombia, South America, and lived there until I was seven years old. From the very beginning, my life was shaped by both challenges and resilience. I was born with Moebius Syndrome, a rare condition that causes facial paralysis. Because of this, I spent much of my childhood being bullied and isolated, longing friendship and acceptance. It was a painful and lonely time, but it also became the foundation for the storyteller I am today.

With the support of my family, I found a way to take control of my story. I began giving presentations to my classmates about my condition, helping them understand me instead of fearing what made me different. For the first time, I discovered the power of storytelling and how it can create awareness, build empathy, and connect people. By seventh grade, I enrolled in a drama class where we wrote and performed short stories as icebreakers. This was my first real stage, and with my love of writing, I thrived. I captured the attention of an audience with nothing but my words, and slowly, I began to make friends and get out of my shell.

Throughout my life, I’ve faced countless health struggles and hospitalizations. In my lowest moments, what gave me strength were stories. It is incredible how encouraging a movie or book can be when you are in your lowest moments. In high school, I spent countless hours writing and creating videos, submitting them to contests in hopes of funding my education. Storytelling became not just a passion, but a hope for the future. Through that determination, I earned over $20,000 in scholarships to attend college.

Because of the importance of storytelling in my life, I made a commitment early on to master the art of telling a good story. Through college courses, personal projects, and my own dedication, I’ve grown into the artist and creator I am today. Now, I bring stories to life through photography, content creation, writing, and poetry. For over three years, I’ve captured the stories of incredible people and local businesses, partnering with businesses like Fiction Addiction, Rocket Fizz Greenville, Kids and More Consignment, and others. I’ve led workshops, and delivered presentations for brands like Taco Bell, which have been dream-like opportunities.

Beyond photography and content creation, I’m also a spoken word poet with years of experience and the author of a published poetry collection. Each project I take on, whether it’s capturing a milestone, elevating a brand, or performing poetry, is driven by the same belief that has shaped my entire journey. My core belief is that stories have the power to connect, heal, and inspire. And it’s my greatest joy to help others tell theirs.
